Shelterbelts and Ecobuffers Shelterbelts: Planting and Design
Shelterbelts and woodlots across the province are deteriorating.. What can YOU do?
Join the Agroforestry and Woodlot Extension Society along with the MD of Greenview and the County of Grande Prairie for an informative evening about how Shelterbelts and Eco-buffers can be designed and planted on your land.
Learn how to:
- Establish and rejuvenate shelterbelts on your property
- Conduct a basic site assessment to kick start your tree planting plan
- Select tree species that will thrive in your region
- Design a plan that meets your needs and provides the ecosystems services you wish to enhance!
Supper and introductions will be held from 5-6 pm, with the workshop and refreshments to follow. There is no charge for this event, however registrations are required.
