Eco-Buffers are plantings of perennial species (i.e. trees, shrubs, and/or herbaceous) designed to mimic natural forest habitat that provides specific ecosystem services. This factsheet is intended to guide farmers, acreage owners and other land managers through the process of establishing an Eco-Buffer, so that these services may be realized.
