With 20 years of history in Alberta, AWES is a non-profit organization with a diverse membership that shares the common goal of encouraging sustainable forest management.

Over the years, AWES has made an impact through community and collaboration. We have partnered  with NGOs, universities and research institutions, the private sector, conservation organizations, municipalities, and rural citizens we are able to work towards a more sustainable world one tree at a time.
