Pruning is the intentional removal of dead or overgrown stems and branches, which increases a plant’s overall health and productivity. We want to ensure that landowners are equipped with the best skillsets for pruning, since trees and shrubs are an essential part of agroforestry, and their development can take several years to decades to establish. With the spring rapidly approaching, your plants may be in need of a trim after their winter slumber.
On March 13, 2025, at 7:00pm, join our Agroforestry Specialist, Winston Gamache, as he walks you through the best times of the year to prune, the techniques used to ‘trim’ your plants and to answer any remaining questions you may have. Additional information will be provided on how AWES can use the 2 Billion Tree Program to help fund and implement planting projects on your land!
Access to the webinar will be provided upon the completion of your registration. Please plan to enter 5-10 minutes before the webinar starts, in case you experience technical difficulties.
The webinar will consist of 60-90 minutes of instructional content, followed by a question period with the event ending at 9:00pm.
