Oh Bee-have!!
Yellowhead County’s Agricultural Services and Parent Link Program is hosting a bee hotel workshop in the Peers Community Centre March 7, 2020 from 2-3 pm.
AWES Staff will answer SWARMS of questions on pollinators, including:
What are pollinators?
Why are they important?
How can you plant for pollinators?
The presentation will be followed by an instructional demonstration and bee hotel building activity facilitated by Yellowhead County.
Please bring your own cordless drill with a #1 inch square bit, and a set of 3/32-3/16 drill bits that are between 3-6 inches in length.
Kits will provided at $20/kit, at a maximum of 2 kits per family.
